‘Taking Human Rights Forward: People’s Union for Civil Liberties [PUCL] Judgments’ is a compilation of the work done by the People’s Union for Civil Liberties [PUCL] in the judicial arena. It ranges from interventions in areas of electoral reforms to measure against police encounter and right to food. These judgments are spread over more than two decades, establishing the continuous participation and concern of PUCL as a human rights organization. These judgments have been invariably referred to by the Supreme Court and the High Courts in several cases.
